Thoyyib Mohamed

Mr. Thoyyib Mohamed, CEO and Managing Director of MMPRC, was appointed to lead the organization on 27th November 2018

A Bournemouth University graduate with a Master of Arts in Broadcast and Film Management, Mr Thoyyib began his career in media at TVM (state TV). After working in several managerial posts in TVM, in 2006 he was assigned as the CEO of private TV stations, VTV.

Later in 2009, he was appointed the Chairman of MMPRC. He also worked as a Finance Executive and State Minister at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, respectively.

He also served as the President of Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD).

Mr Thoyyib has extensive experience in management, strategic planning, and international networking, with an emphasis on fostering creativity at the executive management level.
