Amr comes with more than 30 years of experience in different sectors of Marketing, Media, Advertising and tourism promotion, where in the past 20 years had the privilege of managing some of the world most reputable multinational agencies and companies in Egypt and the MENA region.

During the entire career , Amr had contributed to the promotion of many global brands in a diversity of industries and services including Vodafone, Coca Cola, Unilever, Samsung , HSBC besides managing the international promotion campaigns for the ministry of tourism.

In 2020 Amr was appointed as a member of advisory committee to the ministry of tourism and antiquities to help the ministry in promoting Egyptian tourism in post pandemic era and set a promotion strategy for the following 5 years in collaboration with an international destination marketing firm.

In October 2021 Amr was appointed by the Prime Minister in his current capacity as the CEO of the ETA (Egyptian Tourism Authority) to oversee and drive the tourism growth in Egypt.
