Richard BARNES

Born in Sydney, Australia, Richard Barnes is a media professional with over 40 years’ experience in radio, TV and print media. Winner of the coveted Pater Award for news presentation in Australasia in 1984 and 1985, he moved to the south of France in the late 1980s. Since 2000, he has been working as editor-in-chief and chief analyst for Cleverdis, publishers of all official ITB dailies (ITB Berlin, ITB Asia, ITB China and ITB India). In this role, he has also headed a number of consulting missions, creating marketing tools for destination marketing organisations around the world.
