Keynote: People oriented Education and Tourism Talent Training
In the 40 years since China’s economic reform and opening up, the country’s tourism industry has burgeoned. The demand for talent in the industry has been increasing while requirements are also evolving. As an applied science, talent development should be closely integrated with industry trends. Higher educational institutes offering tourism training are also taking their students out of the ivory tower and making some fundamental changes to talent training at the supply end. In this discussion, we will focus on people-oriented education concepts and explore the directions and processes for reforming tourism talent training.
