Mr. Leo Liu

Leo joined the Wyndham Hotel Group in 2013 at the Group’s critical turning point within the Greater China. Chartered with the primary responsibility of spearheading Wyndham Hotel Group’s strategic growth in Greater China, Leo has been the driving force behind the group’s phenomenal growth overall; signing new development deals to strengthen the pipeline, forging new and stronger business partnerships to enhance the overall support platform, growing the hotels portfolio to continue providing suitable lodging options for everyday travelers, and strengthening the management team’s bench strength overall.

Under Leo’s leadership, the Wyndham Hotel Group Greater China has further solidified its position as a leading international hospitality company in this strategic market and continue to grow in significance as a big contributing region to the group globally. He has been achieving several new monumental milestones.

Leo has nearly 20 years of hospitality experience. Prior to Wyndham Hotel Group, he served as the managing director of Costa Crociere S.p.A., where he was responsible for overseeing the development strategy in Asia Pacific. He has also held several management roles for Accor Group in France’s headquarter and China, and served as Managing Director for Accor Services, China. At the beginning of his career, Leo also served as a diplomat at China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Having 12 years sojourn in France, Leo graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon, France and Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
